Baiben Restaurant in glitzy Puerto Portals is headed up by chef Fernando P. Arellano and his team. Fernando holds a Michelin Star for the signature restaurant in Hotel Es Princep, Palma.
The restaurant design is modern contemporary and the huge floor to ceiling windows making it bright and airy for dining in the cooler months, and during the long warm summer, the huge outside terrace overlooking the water is a dream dining space.
The spacious layout of Baiben Restaurant has enabled Fernando to team up with master mixologist Rafa Martin of the Brass Club in Palma to provide clients with a classy cocktail bar BrassBaiben as well.
But with Fernando’s culinary pedigree, it is the food which provides the real draw to this restaurant. Baiben’s mission is to provide taste experiences from around the world but with a distinctive local touch.
There are flavours and combinations from South America, Asia and elsewhere accompanied by the freshest and best local ingredients , olive oil and breads. The menu features seafood, paella, rice , grilled meats, tapas and much more besides.
The dishes are designed to be particularly suitable for sharing. There is also an enormous wine selection available.
