The hotel is only 5 minutes on foot from the picture-postcard village of Valldemossa with its tree-lined cobbled streets, terracotta-roofs, sleepy cats and locals chatting to each other from their doorways. Your arrival takes you up a few flights of steps to reach the main reception or, if you prefer, drive directly to the hotel where staff will gladly assist with carrying luggage to rooms and valet parking the car in their generous and free car park. Sip a welcome cocktail on the upper terrace while you check-in. It’s a very relaxed affair.

Boasting just 12 bedrooms this historic manor house has the feel of a comfortable country house and is boutique luxury in the truest sense of the word. the relaxed atmosphere creates a homely vibe. 

Stylish sofas, exposed stone walls and easy-on-the eye furnishings in tones of copper and cream, are complemented by smart designer lighting, traditional terracotta flooring, sisal rugs and antique furnishings. 

A labyrinth of stately stone staircases and balustrades, patios and terraces offer the chance to soak in those valley  views at every opportunity with the hardest decision of the day to choose a chair in the sun or in the dappled shade to settle  into and gaze across the landscape with a chilled glass of Mallorcan wine. 

The 12 well-proportioned bedrooms, all different in size, are clustered in and around the main house across three floors.

There are four categories, deluxe terrace, junior suite, junior suite terrace and the fabulous Valldemossa Suite, vast at 65 m² with lounge, private terrace with a jacuzzi and breathtaking views of the valley and Carthusian Monastery. 

All rooms are light and spacious with exposed beams, stone flooring, sisal rugs, artwork and textiles in a warm palette of copper and cream.

A peaceful swimming pool is flanked with sun-beds where you can laze away an afternoon or two with only birdsong as your sound track. A unique outdoor gym has work-out worthy views and the indoor pool, carved into natural rock, with whirlpool tub and sauna offer stunning views of the valley,
