Chef Santi Taura had a passion for food and cooking from an early age. After completing his training he worked across the island in hotels and restaurants and opened his own hugely popular restaurant in Lloseta in 2003. But the call to bring his style of cooking to the capital won over with the recent opening of DINS.
Situated in El LLorenç Parc de la Mar Hotel in the atmospheric Calatrava neighbourhood with its cobbled streets and Moorish roots the chic interior of this elegant luxury five-star boutique hotel has cleverly woven the Arabic star motif into wooden doors, textiles, ceramics throughout the hotel. Opened in 2019 it has very quickly become one of the city’s most popular hotels.
With its pool and restaurant roof terrace and Bay of Palma views already a draw, the icing on the cake came when their signature Restaurant DINS Santi Taura, headed up by acclaimed local chef was awarded a Michelin Star in its first year in Palma.

Open to residents and non residents DINS Santi Taura offers a tasting menu comprising of no less than 11 courses which will take you on a culinary journey with recipes that represent the gastronomic history of Mallorca using seasonal products. Culinary heritage on a plate.
Feast on meatballs with pulpo, followed by Santi Taura´s interpretation of suckling pig, divine. The cheese course is optional but if you have room it is a highlight . The wine pairing is at an additional cost, but I think worth it.
DINS Santi Taura is small so you do need to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
