Cuit Restaurant

One of the stars of the Palma dining scene, Cuit Restaurant, offers both excellent Mallorcuisine as well as spectacular views across the city’s skyline and should be on everyone’s dining list when visiting Mallorca.

Nakar Hotel -View of Palma from Cuit Restaurant

Located in the Nakar Hotel on Avenida Jaime III, one of the most prestigious streets in Palma, a lift from reception will whisk you to the 8th floor straight into this bright and modern restaurant and bar with awesome bay views.

Open just on one side but sheltered when the weather is cooler, it is one of the few restaurants in Palma commanding such a fine view of the city.

Then there is the food. Chef Miquel Calent, honed his skills in his home town of Campos in the south east of the island where he opened his first restaurant Ca’n Calent, which is renowned island-wide and he has become somewhat of regular on local TV.

Cuit Restaurant’s food is inspired by Mallorcan tradition and is Mediterranean in style – but with a contemporary twist. Much of the produce used in the kitchen is Mallorcan, including the pork from pigs raised by Miquel’s father and vegetables and fruit grown in his own produce gardens.

Savour local delicacies such a as ‘Patates a lo pobre’ (‘poor man’s potatoes) with egg yoke and black truffles and Frito Mallorquin, a rich and comforting dish of meat, potatoes and vegetables chopped small and fried in olive oil. There is a regularly changing 3 course `Menu of the Day ´which is excellent value.
